ABOUT ME
Reaching the unreached in creative ways.
Bringing hope, healing, and truth to Mexico

Thirty-eight years ago a family of eight kids and two parents set off on the biggest adventure of their lives--although they were not sure where exactly they were headed, they followed God’s calling to reach the millions of unreached people of Mexico. They traveled by 1974 Blue Ford bus-converted house-on wheels. The Pendletons followed God’s guiding, ending up in the mountains of Mexico. They settled in Zacatecas, Zac, a region in the 10/40 window where only 2 percent of the population call themselves Christians.

They planted local Churches. They pastored. Their kids led youth groups. They taught others to do street evangelism by example. They started and taught Bible studies.

Eventually, John and Eileen felt led to began individual ministries with John focusing on teaching the truths of creation at schools, universities, and churches, and Eileen reaching out to unreached and downtrodden women through the ministry of Aglow.

Aglow is a worldwide organization that focuses on winning the lost to Christ, their two pillars being evangelism and prayer, Eileen's two strengths. She prospered in AGLOW, rising to be the President of the National Board in AGLOW Mexico, as well as being elected to be the President of the Regional Committee of Central America and Mexico. Although she stepped down from those positions in 2019  she travelled all over Mexico and Latin America encouraging thousands through her faith-based motivational talks; She also works in leadership development and mentoring, and established new AGLOW groups.

John continued to travel throughout Mexico, Central and  South America, and Cuba lecturing on the scientific evidence of a God created world until the day God called him home to heaven on February 19, 2022, where surely he received a great welcome for his extensive ministry in his 74 years.

Presently Eileen is very active in her local church in Zacatecas that is pastored by her youngest daughter, Anna, and her husband, Gerardo. Eileen is leader of a Wed. night home group. Eileen preaches at church, is a conference speaker-Bible teacher to the women, is head of the prayer ministry, and trains people from her church in her hospital ministry to share the Gospel and pray for the sick. She estimates that going to the hospital 2 days a week, about 1,600 people per year have prayed to receive Christ and countless people have been healed.

Eileen is part of the Pastor's Alliance and the Pastor's Wives Alliance. She is frequently asked to be a conference speaker and has spoken in secular groups as well.

God gave Eileen the vision of turning their mountaintop house and surrounding property into a Prayer Retreat Center for people to come to  from all over Latin America. This center is named Mount of Living Hope or Monte De Esperanza. Miraculously, local businessman are interested in advising on the  of building of this project, which is a non-profit, and are coaching Eileen on moving forward with the Mexican government.

Eileen is raising the money to buy the land and construct the buildings which will include an auditorium, an 8 story prayer tower of hope, a restaurant, a garden. a parking area, a pool, and 18 prayer rooms. During this waiting time to compete with the Mexican government and buy the land and construct the buildings Mount of Living Hope has been working in the following ministries: 1. Her hospital ministry 2. A united prayer meeting that is, since covid, every Saturday night on Facebook Live. 3. A weekly 2 minute School of Success class that Eileen teaches that goes out on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Whatsapp, that some classes are receiving thousands of views.
